1)Please tell us about yourself and How did you come up with the name of your IG account?
Well, my name is Ahteshaam Hubilkar, I have completed my Biomedical Engineering and MBA from DY Patil college, When I was studying in degree college, I was very fond of trying a different type of food every day, so I used to visit different restaurants daily and I made sure I did not repeat the restaurant. Every day I used to try new restaurants and new types of cuisine and post it on my WhatsApp and Snapchat. That’s when my friends suggested me, why don’t I show what I eat to people on Instagram so I thought about opening an Instagram account and sharing and sharing my journey ..but the main challenge was to name it, and since I used to search fr different and new dishes daily I came up with the name “wheres_the_fo0d ” and rest is history ..!
2)Has the influencer profession affected your family life?
Yes, it has affected but in a good way.
The best part about being an influencer is that you have flexible working hours. I’m able to give quality time to my family, friends and also work side by side. In this way, I can equally keep a balance between my personal and professional life.
3)How many days do you work and what is your daily schedule?
As I mentioned earlier my working schedule is quite flexible. I’m a food blogger and my main job is visiting different restaurants but as of now due to the situation, everything has come to a standstill and so has my work. I wake up around 9 in the morning, workout for an hour. After having my breakfast I start with my work. I always keep myself free in the evening so that I can do the photoshoot required for product branding.
4)What is the best thing to be an influencer?
I think the best thing about being an influencer is to inspire and influence people to live a happy, healthy, and desired life. It not only helps me connect with people but also the other influencers. Thanks to Instagram and other social media which has helped me socialize with these influencers and people easily. Naturally, I took time to grow as an influencer but if you love your work and put all your efforts then nothing can stop you from growing and achieving success.
5)What are the most difficult situations which helped to become what you are: share if any?
-When I was in junior college( 11th std ), our Physics teacher had asked us to complete the record book in a week’s time. After a week, when she started checking the book, everybody had finished writing except me. When my turn camel told her honestly that l couldn’t finish. She forgave me by giving a warning that this should be my first and the last time.
After this incident, l learned that one should not give excuses and take things for granted. Never delay your work because that leads to failure.
6)What is the 5 must-have in men’s wardrobe? And define your personal style?
– A good quality watch (preferably branded,in my case I am found of Samsung and Apple smartwatches it defines your class ), smart casuals, sneakers or boots, jacket, and sunglasses.
And talking about me, my style is more comfortable and colorful. I love wearing hoodies, loose tees, jackets. I think one should wear clothes they are comfortable in.
7)What are your favorite movies or books related to your niche?
When it comes to movies typically before watching, like to know the genre of the movie. It helps me put it to a perspective.
My favs are : Satya – Gangland movie, but how mouthwatering to watch.
Roja – Must watch. Used to play every Independence Day on DD 1, cannot miss this one.
Bawarchi – This comedy, served along with awesome acting, a new premise. They don’t make comedies like this anymore.
One more I would like mention I use to like Ram Gopal Verma movies alot ..espicially Satya 1 and 2, Sarkar, Ab Tak happen, Company, Rakht Charitra 1 and 2 .. I think he has good deep knowledge about the underworld . !
My all-time favorite book is “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. One of the best lines from it is “Life gives you many signs and you have to be vigilant to pick them up to follow your dreams.”
8)What is the best collaboration experience with the brand till now?
– My campaign experience for a multinational pizza brand Dominos has been amazing.
9) 4-5 lines for your readers.
– We need to accept that we won’t always make the right decision, that we’ll screw up royally sometimes- understanding that failure is not the opposite of success, but it’s part of success.
